A bit of a late posting, but still great news after just a week of relaxing!

I feel I did well this year, I certainly got more A’s than I anticipated! Though a few exams left me worried, It turned out like a good end to the year. Not going back until the start of October so I wish to make some money and get a head start for next year, along with taking Rails further in my personal time as its no longer part of my Degree. I’ve become more accustomed to using Net-beans as an IDE rather then sticking with the Text Editor, not that I don’t like them, becuase they’re great, I just like the idea of having an ‘environment’ to work in and with.

Finally sorted out both my Laptop and Desktop to running Windows 7 64bit Professional. – Now it’s time to get used to using SVN’s and GitHub. I’ve just started going through a Ruby on Rails Tutorial which includes using Git, a bit icky to get sorted out on Windows but it was worth it, I just don’t like Linux that much, but I’m sure that will change.

I’ve added a Link to Github so if anyone is interested in Version Control, which is great for large and open source projects, take a look.

So I should probably be studying for the exams coming up this week. But I find myself tweaking coursework which is way beyond the specified criteria needed for even a grade A, but hey…I find it much more entertaining to improve something that I’ve already worked on or created then having to revise something which I haven’t taken the time to learn at all. :)
